Mike and I purchased our glass tile for the kitchen cabinet backsplash months ago. It’s a gorgeous white glass subway tile (3×6). At the time, I was set on using a bright white grout, but now I’m debating using a grey grout.
I mocked up what it might look like with grey or white grout. Ignore my quick and dirty Photoshop job. I really can’t decide between the two!
For reference, our countertop is Silestone in shades of white. It has different coloured flecks and pieces of recycled glass in it. Here’s a picture from the Silestone website of one that’s similar to what we picked (because honestly I can’t remember the name of the one we actually chose, haha).
What do you think? Will white grout be too much (and too many shades of) white or will it be bright and clean looking? Will grey be too dark or will it tie in nicely with the dark wall? Vote for your favourite!
